iNet WOL is a versatile tool designed to wake a computer from sleep using a local network or the internet. One of its key advantages lies in its user-friendly interface and straightforward setup process.

 <li>Waking a computer via the internet</li>
 <li>Remotely putting a computer to sleep, shutting it down, or restarting it (currently available for Mac OSX only)</li>
 <li>Adding new devices with a simple touch (MAC address entry required since iOS 11)</li>
</ul>

iNet WOL scans all devices connected to your local network, displaying their names, IP addresses, and vendors with just a click of a button. There is no need to search for MAC addresses or manually type them in. You can effortlessly add devices to your favorites by selecting them from the generated list.

Setup and Usage:

To wake up your chosen device, launch iNet WOL and click on it – it's as straightforward as that. For more detailed setup instructions on waking on LAN via the internet, kindly refer to our website.

Prerequisites:

<ul>
 <li>Your iPhone or iPod touch must be connected to your LAN</li>
 <li>Your iPhone or iPod touch must be in the same subnet</li>
 <li>Your computer and router should be connected via ethernet cable</li>
 <li>Computers must be correctly configured for Wake On LAN</li>
 <li>Network cards must support the standard Magic Packet format</li>
</ul>

Additional prerequisites for WOL via the internet:

<ul>
 <li>The network must be accessible via the internet</li>
 <li>The router must be capable of forwarding WOL packets</li>
 <li>The router and firewall must be appropriately configured</li>
</ul>

Limitations:

Version 1.0 does not support Wake On LAN with subnet-directed broadcasts. However, this feature will be included in a future update. Currently, Wake On LAN functions solely within the same subnet.

iNet WOL is integrated into our comprehensive network scanner iNet, which includes an array of other network tools such as ping, Bonjour scanner, and port scan functionalities among others.
